Energybuild is a producer of deep mined premium Anthracite and open cast coals. We are currently developing Aberpergwm colliery to provide access to large reserves located between the Neath and Dulais Valleys. We also currently operate Nant Y Mynydd Open Cast Coal Site which produces high quality industrial fuel and and high psv sand stone products. The company has identified further areas for potential opencast mine development within the Aberpergwm surface lease area. Energybuild has a close working relationship with Tower Colliery which involves the common utilisation of manpower and resources.

Energybuild Group Plc, the Welsh producer of deep mined premium anthracite coal and surface mined coal, announces its interim results for the 6 months ended 31 December 2008. The Group is developing coal opportunities in South Wales including the Aberpergwm Colliery and the Nant y Mynydd opencast site, providing access to large reserves located between the Neath and Dulais valleys, and a joint venture coal tip recovery operation. Its coal is sold primarily into the Aberthaw power station on a supply contract linked to the API 11 Index, as well as the industrial and domestic markets.

Energybuild Group Plc, the AIM listed Welsh anthracite producer, has signed a five year coal supply contract with Evans & Reid Coal Company Limited ('Evans and Reid'), a leading UK distributor of solid fuels. Under the terms of the agreement, Energybuild will sell the entire quantity of its sized products, produced from the Aberpergwm Mine exclusively to Evans & Reid at set prices, subject to excepted sales that include sales to local domestic customers.
